List of PHONETICS!!

Hello Everyone,
This is Deep Sukhwani here, once again here for something new.

This time, I am presenting the list of common phonetics which we use in day to day conversation, especially when we are talking on PHONE.

The main use of this, is to make someone understand, what exactly we are saying.
For Example, if you are saying "DEEP", someone on phone might understand it as "PEEP" or "BEEP", this is generally because of the RHYMIC and confusing Sounds of the letters and the words formed by them, in order to overcome this difficulty, we all generally use PHONETICS.

I have worked in International Call Center for almost about 2 years, this Phonetic Table, used to be in front of us, on our desk, next to our computer monitor, etc.
Especially, when we speak to those, who have a different way of speaking English then we do (Accent), that is the time when this is the most useful thing, in order to be clear whatever you are saying, even if you are talking on phone

It is a globally accepted standard of a common type of words being used to symbolize a particular letter,

Here is the List of PHONETICS used as a STANDARD Globally.:

(NATO Phonetic Alphabet)

A - ALPHA
B - BRAVO
C - CHARLIE
D - DELTA
E - ECHO
F - FOXTROT
G - GOLF
H - HOTEL
I - INDIA
J - JULIET
K - KILO
L - LIMA
M - MIKE
N - NOVEMBER
O - OSCAR
P - PAPA
Q - QUEBEC
R - ROMEO
S - SIERRA
T - TANGO
U - UNIFORM
V - VICTOR
W - WHISKEY
X - X RAY
Y - YANKEE
Z - ZULU

This is generally used as "A as in Alpha" and so on....
Or for example if you are explaining someone the word "HAND", you can explain it as "HOTEL ALPHA NOVEMBER DELTA", in this Hotel symbolizes letter "H", Alpha symbolizes "A", November symbolizes "N" and Delta symbolizes "D".

So dear friends, here you all loose the communication problems, especially when we talk on phones, explain someone a local address or something which is not much common to all..
